Biography

For most of her career, Loree Cullum has worked inside two of the most prestigious trust and fiduciary institutions in the country. She knows exactly how a complex trust should be administered, how a multi-layered estate should be settled, and how a multi-generational wealth transfer should be coordinated — because she has done it hundreds of times.

Before joining Vaquero Private Wealth in 2022, Loree spent 15 years as a Trust Advisor at Northern Trust — recognized as the Best Private Bank by the Financial Times Group 14 of the last 17 years, with over 135 years of fiduciary expertise serving the world's most successful families. At Northern Trust, she managed complex trust relationships for ultra-high-net-worth clients, delivering meticulous fiduciary oversight, proactive communication, and holistic wealth coordination.

Prior to Northern Trust, Loree served as a Trust Officer at US Trust — Bank of America Private Wealth Management, one of the oldest and most established private banking franchises in the United States. It was at US Trust where she first developed her deep expertise in trust administration, estate settlement, and the nuanced art of navigating complex family dynamics with discretion and care.

At Vaquero, Loree serves as Director of Wealth Management Services, responsible for the delivery of investment, financial, philanthropic, and wealth transfer services to clients. Her role is both broad and deeply personal: she helps families clarify what they want their wealth to accomplish, then coordinates the advisors, strategies, and structures needed to make it happen. Whether it's funding a donor advised fund, restructuring an irrevocable trust, implementing a wealth transfer strategy, or simply ensuring that a family's financial life runs seamlessly — Loree is the person who makes sure it gets done right.

What makes Loree exceptional is not just her technical mastery — it's her ability to sit with a family, understand their values and intentions, and translate those into a coordinated financial plan that actually works across generations.

"She helps families clarify what they want their wealth to accomplish — then coordinates everything needed to make it happen."

Why It Matters

The Fiduciary
Difference

Most financial advisors can recommend investments. Far fewer can administer a trust, settle an estate, or coordinate a multi-generational wealth transfer with the precision and care these responsibilities demand.

Loree spent two decades inside institutions that set the standard for fiduciary excellence — Northern Trust and US Trust. She brings that institutional discipline to Vaquero, where it's applied with the personal attention and responsiveness that only an independent firm can offer.

When you work with Loree, you're getting the rigor of a major trust company and the dedication of a trusted family advisor — in one person.
