Best Financial Advisory Firms 2026
USA Today, in partnership with Statista, evaluated registered investment advisory firms across the United States. The ranking recognized the top 1,000 RIA firms based on recommendations from financial advisors, clients, and industry experts (weighted 20%) and short- and long-term AUM development (weighted 80%). Recommendations were collected via independent survey among over 30,000 individuals. AUM was analyzed using publicly available SEC data.

America's Top Financial Advisory Firms 2026
Newsweek, in partnership with Plant-A Insights Group, evaluated over 16,000 financial advisory firms registered with the SEC. Eligible firms were required to have more than $20 million in AUM, at least three wealth advisers, a minimum of five individual clients, and two years of SEC registration. Firms were evaluated on asset performance, client performance, adviser expertise and client ratio, breadth of service offerings, and conflicts of interest. The top 1,000 firms achieved the highest composite scores.

Fastest-Growing Fee-Only RIAs in the USA
InvestmentNews selected the Fastest-Growing Fee-Only RIAs based on data reported to the SEC on Form ADV. To qualify, firms must have total AUM of at least $100 million, not receive commissions, not be actively engaged in business as a broker-dealer, and provide financial planning services. Firms were ranked by three-year AUM growth rate. The list recognized 75 winners nationwide across three asset-size categories.
